Fashion Show! Part I

This week I attended a week long fashion class at the Art Institute of Dallas. It was SOOO nice to meet people that loved fashion as much as I do. I dressed in my normal wardrobe picks, but, for me, normal is a skirt and heals. I went the first day thinking I was going to be way over dressed but didn't care because I'm more than used to being overdressed. I was so elated when every one was dressed like me! I couldn't believe it, it was ah-mazing!Every one there, all the girls in my classes, and the instructors too, were all so nice. I didn't want to say goodbye!

Our task for the week was to design and make our own denim jackets. Then Friday morning we got to model them ourselves in a fashion show we put on for our friends and family. Every one styled and accessorized there jackets so uniquely, it was ah-mazing! And getting to model your own designs is the most exciting thing ever!

I took some pictures back stage:

These are just a few of the girls jackets but every one's came out so good. they were all so unique and different. Who knew the classic denim jacket could be styled so many different ways?!
We had to hand stitch every thing on the jacket. By Friday my hands hurt so bad!

Adding last minute touches to my jacket the morning of the show. After loosing many of hours of sleep over this jacket I think it was finally ready!
Awe, so cute!
