Icon of the Week

The Lovely, Mrs. Suzy Parker
Born October 28, 1932, in the great state of Texas, Suzy Parker was to become one the greatest models this world has ever seen. Her career began when her older sister, Dorian Parker, who some call "the worlds first supermodel," agreed to sign with Ford Models if they took Suzy too. At the young age of 15 her high cheeked boned face graced the cover of Life magazine. This five-foot-ten, big boned, red-head modeled for Vogue, Revlon, MaxFactor, Bliss. Simplicity, Elle, Ronson, Look, Paris Match, Redbook, and much more. She became a signiture face of Chanel and inspired Audrey Hepburn's character in the film Funny Face.
Her beauty leaves us speachless....

Her photos were a work of art.
